The makers of Ramayana have officially locked the trailer release date. The much-awaited glimpse will be released globally on July 30 at 4:15 AM during the auspicious Brahma Muhurtham.
Trailer Drops During Auspicious Brahma Muhurtham
Announcing the release, a new poster states: “We welcome the dawn of Ramayana with our trailer during the auspicious Brahma Muhurtham.” The Brahma Muhurtham begins approximately one hour and 36 minutes before sunrise and lasts for about 48 minutes. In Hindu tradition, this period is considered ideal for meditation, prayer, and spiritual practices.
Initially, it was expected that the trailer would be released globally during the San Diego Comic-Con. However, producer Namit Malhotra decided to postpone the release at the last minute, announcing that it would be launched after the official team-up with Sony Pictures.
Leaked Clips Prompt Official Release
While fans eagerly await the official trailer, some clips have already leaked online. The trailer was first screened at the ‘Pratham Sankalp’ event at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi and subsequently in Mumbai. It was also showcased at the San Diego Comic-Con.
Following each event, short clips from the upcoming trailer surfaced on social media, prompting fans to urge the producers to officially release the promotional material. In response to the leaked content, producer Namit Malhotra and the film’s legal team have launched an anti-piracy drive.
Star-Studded Cast and November 2026 Release
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Yash as Ravana. The cast also includes Sunny Deol, Ravi Dubey, Rakul Preet Singh, Arun Govil, Lara Dutta, Vivek Oberoi, and Kunal Kapoor in key roles.
Hans Zimmer and A.R. Rahman have composed the music for the film. Produced by Namit Malhotra, Ramayana is scheduled for release in November 2026.
